Not a ford fan especially a cumstain... I mean Mustang.

I always have to be different, I think my next project will be a 72 opel GT with an ecotec in it. I know where there is a shell in a barn and the owner will give it to me, I used to work with her late husband.

Thats basically the best bang for the buck without doing a full motor build.
Manual Tranny's do as well. Point?

Auto's are better for racing

Bolt Ons (CAI, Exhaust, Port/Polish Intake & Heads), with a tune...wont make much power. But would still be noticable.

I'll be honest, if you have to use NOS to keep up with a stock car...you're racing a different class of car and you should set your sights lower...or get some sort of forced induction.

QFT. Mustangs are almost like Honda Civics...too many people have them and they don't know how to drive worth a ****.

indeed you are naw, just messing with you. But really though, none of the ecotecs is really any better than the others, except the LNF. supercharge 2.4 > supercharged 2.2 >supercharged 2.0. Same applies for N/A and turbo. They all have the same valvetrain, almost identical flowing heads, same cam profiles, etc. The only differences are compression ratios and displacements (along with the LSJ having oil squirters for the pistons)

also, just FYI, that 370hp is only about 290whp

The 2.4s have little love from the aftermarket(compared to 2.0s and 2.2s).
