Thumbs up :)

"2.2 Ecotec Turbo/SC engine- this is a completely built engine-with forged lower compression pistons, billet rods and race quality internals.
Full headwork and HD turbo cams and valve train. HD oil system mods and setup for a turbo drain down incorporated into the block already.
It is ready for your manifolds and turbo or SC- this is a bullet -proof engine!
This is the same engine Gm is making 1000+HP with and is a great engine for a turbo/SC project or a kit car conversion too.
(We can provide a RWD bellhousing for them now too) $3750 + truck frt."

i'll spend my money there!!!!!!!!!!!

$3750 actually isn't that bad of a price IF they are doing this:

Ecotec core engine, preferrably a 2005 or later one. $500

Rods Eagle CRS5765C3D ARP 2000 bolts (650 HP) $330
Piston, pin, and ring sets Wiseco K583M86 $460
8.9-1 comp ratio and standard bore
Rod bearings GM Goodwrench $22
Head gasket $50
ARP stud kit #231-4701 $140
Girdle Bolts #11519783 $95
Springs and valves Ferrea
Sport Compact Competition Plus Valves
F1961P Exhaust Valve 21.18 *8 169.44
F1963P Intake Valve 21.18 *8 169.44
Sport Compact Valve Springs
S10057 16.53 *16 264.48
Titanium Retainer
E11033 12.82 *16 205.12
Adjustable Cam Gear set Goodwrench Performance # 88958613 $362.68

This is my build. They are charging about a thousand bucks above the parts cost, which is about right for the labor of cleaning, prepping, and building the block. No head work however.

MantaPart has been around for a while. They have had mixed reviews depending on who you talk to. You might do better to simply have a local shop do your build.

you buy that motor and you're easily looking at spending 10K when you factor in a turbo setup + tranny build
