I tried to get the stock box out through the light....it was a no go...but once you have the CAI in you can take the filter, tube and everything off through the headlight easily. if you have the sri cai combo...all you have to do is take the headlight out and remove the pipe and filter. Just remember to dx your battery so that your maf will read the new flow codes for having the sri instead of the cai

you would say that aaron
umm do you know what your talking about? adding an intake is one of the best things you can do to increase flow into the engine... then you add exhaust... because the flow in should be at least the same as the flow out... I know it wont be exact but you get what im saying... why would you say that an itake isnt worth it on a 2.2? you make no sense...
Could I also add that I think an intake is a waste of well-earned money on the 2.2L?
You might as well just run a cone filter on the stock intake.
Oiled filters have been known to contaminate sensors. Just from what I have read, they flow better than paper only when they are not oiled properly, and they allow more particles into your engine.

We sell AEM also, but it just isn't as good, again only IMO.

I had a fujita. it sounded nice but it didnt look great cause you have to keep that plastic piece of crap on the TB. Plus on any rainy day i got a CEL. So i sold it and bought and Injen and love it. Good looking to.

I have had my AEM cai around two years. I have had no problems at all. I have never owned any other brand so I wouldn't know about them. All I know is my car sounds nice with the cai and I need to buy an exhaust now.

I got my Injen from turbo tech racing. And I have had no problems. SRI for winter, and CAI for summer. But I did get a CEL light, it still says I am running lean( dealer) but they will always say it is from the oil on the filter. Well I changed my filter to the AEM Dry Flow filter. I love that filter, no problems since. Thanks again Turbo Tech Racing.

I've had my AEM CAI on for a year now, and not one CEL. Follow directions and install the part properly, or get a pro mechanic to do it, and you won't have any CEL.

Hmm, this thread is old but what the hell, I would go injen, it is VERY EASY to fix the rubbing problem. That metal bracket that sticks out and hits it...take some heater hose or what ever you wanna call it, get one that looks about right size wise, cut to length then cut it down then middle and put it on the metal bracket, problem solved, i haven't noticed any other places it rubs once i did it right.
