Air Filter #2

Yes, I realize that there is already a topic titled 'Air Filter', but my concern is a bit different...

While I save up for a CAI, I'm wondering if I should upgrade my standard air filter. More specifically, the K&N filter for the 2.2L. I guess my question is: Will this upgrade even matter once I get the CAI? I'm sure any filter is better than the stock, but would it even be used that much? Thanks.

Well if you are getting a CAI soon, I wouldn`t spend the cash on a K&N filter, it would be a waste. You`ll end up with 50$ filter laying around doing nothing. Just save up for the CAI and leave your intake as it is for now.
