Airbox mod or K&N drop-in?

I just wanted a few opinions on the subject. Would I be better off doing the airbox mod with a cone filter or using a k&n drop-in filter? Would the drop in filter make my car any louder? thanks.

dam newbies, had to check your gallery to even know what kind of car you have. Cone filter would definitely be ideal, drop in wont make a noise difference. /
