id rather that happen then the motor blowing up lol, and yes my fast and furious car did fall apart
but heres the story, my friend begged me to let him drive my cobalt. i finally gave in and while he was driving i turned on the nitrous bottle. i told him to go to 3rd and floor it, the rpms jumped to about 3800 and he floored it and i hit the button for him. the ******* decides to shift at 4500 rpms while i was holding the button. i freaked out and let off, the car was fine at this moment and i shut off the nitrous and said no more. =\ about 5 miles up the road the engine light flashes and the car pulled a fast and furious 2 moment with the little car harpoon ****. slowly dies down to a stalll

Oh **** man... what an idiot he is. Your engine is probably fucked. You better hope you didn't bend a valve or something stupid like that.
And a dealership SHOULD be able to tell that NOS has been sprayed. And if they can't... the GM Rep that they send to APPROVE the engine warranty, will be able to tell.
If they total it, buy my SS/SC... I'll deliver.

Shifting while spraying is bad. That is why MOST people these days are getting RPM activated NOS kits.

Update:
i got a call from friendly chevrolet and they were saying that they found that the problem was internal( no **** i told him i heared something inside the engine) but anyways he said he sent it to the engine guy and they were taking off the head right now. he also said that everything should be covered under warranty and let me know tomorrow so i can get a rental
lol guess what i did, i cleaned out the car really good but i left my spare nitrous jets in the glovebox. they have no reason to look there but theres a chance they could look

Haha... I know at least 20 people that have been spraying cars for the last 30 years of their lives and never had a problem. You HAVE to know what you are doing and you have to know what steps to take when spraying.
Shifting while spraying is bad. That is why MOST people these days are getting RPM activated NOS kits.

2nd mine is fool proof and I don't have to worry about shifts. Auto FTMFW!! lol.

I think they pretty much can't get it for you, cuz if they go in there, you can say something was stolen and they would be responsible cuz they went into it.

well think of it this way. the car is worth 7 thousand in perfect condition, and the motor cost about 1500-3000 depends on where they get it. labor is around 4-8 hours for the motor, and then im going to get them to add a line for the transmission saying that when the motor stalled out on the hwy i was in 5th gear and pulled over and smelt the clutch badly. thats another 3-5 hours in labor for a tear down. plus they will not know i have had nitrous on there. all proof is gone, so if warranty is denied for the purpose of abuse. ill pay my insurance deductable and they will see that the claim will be around 4-5 grand + the cost of the rental car and i will claim that my windshield is cracked also so i can get the car in perfect condition again. so if they are smart they will total it and use the car for parts for another cobalt
I couldn't really understand the post that well, but it looks really sketchy.
