im saying more to buy the garret turbo, but thne i looked at the price of the garret kit and the tuning and it was going to be alot more expensive than the alpine kit, so im most likly going to be going with the alpine kit here in the next month, i just need to sell my supercharger, and some other stereo stuff

The differences between the Garrett and the Alpine kit (I carry both of them), is the Alpine is more of a OEM quality install, although it does add quite a bit of HP, and looks good under the hood (like it was made in the car), it comes with tuning and costs a bit more.
The Garrett kit is of higher performance, and a bit higher quality, it comes with a intercooler and such and is better off for the 2.4L since it does NOT come with tuning but costs less.

As for no tune being better, that's only true if there is no SMT-6 tune available for the 2.4. There will be in 3 weeks, from Alpine.
