any new updates for the 2.2L that the dealer can give me?
ok so my spring break officially starts tomorro after i take my communications 100 midterm... i will be heading to the dealer for my oil change, as usual... i get the hook up, thats the only reason i dont do it myself.. well anyways, me and this service advisor are real cool, his name is aaron and has helped me fix my balt when my car got all messed up due to the wiring...
so yeah, while im there, are there any updates for the 2007 Cobalt Lt that I can ask for? also, is it free or do i pay for it...?? i wana sound like i know what im talkin about when i pull up...
oh yeah, and my balt is making a strange sound when i start it up.... sounds like a ratchet wrench... idk, but its starting to get on my nerves... so ima have them inspect it cuz im goin to Sedona, AZ for spring break....
so yeah, any tips or hints would greatly be appreciated, thanks!
PS: and when i say updates, im talking about computer wise.

If your car is still covered under warranty just ask them to do it. They can make up a complaint and use the reprogram "fix it" so they can get paid by GM. If your not under warranty then your probably going to have to pay for the techs time. My shop is a manditory minimum 1 hr charge for touching a TECH 2 and our labor rate is $104 an hr.

I reflashed YellowLT's car a few months back, to up the speed limiter. His program was original factory if I remember correctly. After the reprogram he said the car ran smoother and felt better. Couldnt give you any numbers or proof but thats what he said.
