1/4 mile

14.6 stock. Lots of practice, wheel hop a problem. Stock tires suck on track.

16.1 @ 85.5mph...I'd post the timeslip but I have no idea where the hell it is. If MikeSS sees this one he'll back it up since he ran it in my car . Bone stock, tire pressure not lowered (so @ ~32psi) spare/jack in the trunk and 3/4 tank of gas. I believe it was 10c that night as well.

15.05 @ 94.91MPH in a 2.4SS with Short ram intake.

And yeah, permafried's car ran that (as I broke the shift lever). It would run faster I believe.

Pretty desecent times for the 2.2's. I didn't realize that the 2.4's were that fast?!?! My buddy just got a 2.4L Ion 5 spd and I am suppose to race him soon. His car is stock,I was wondering if having the mods that i have could keep up with him or if i could even beat him??(he is a really good driver too!)

16.1@86. At the time no engine mods. 34psi in tires, spun bad thru 1,2. Best 60ft was 2.6, first time driving manual at track, and this is my first manual car so still learning, so not bad for a 2.2L manual sedan.

I got a question for you, you have an identical cobalt to mine, 4door manual. Now my question is what kinda tires do you have ? I got the stock 15's and i cant stop spinning in first, best 60ft i can get is 2.5 without burnin up the clutch. And what elevation level was this time taken place ?
