Anyone ever bought parts from gmpartsdirect?
www.gmpartsdirect.com
I got a total of 281.77 (shipped) for both FE5 shocks and struts. IMO I think its a good deal.
Anyone have a bad experience with them? Or is it all good

lol, nice. Been looking high and low for the bracket for the rear trans mount and seen this on the front page, props man $25 beats paying $100 at the dealer. I've ordered some basic appearance things for a friend's G5 before, seemed like a good site.
The catalog with diagrams they have is a godsend, I missed that before. I'd found one just like it for my father's Dodge though, so I knew there was one out there for GM.

I have before but their shipping fee is a fixed % of your total that can get high depending on how much you're buying. But I was pleased with them, I'd order from them again.

GMpartsdirect is awesome. They are the only place i could a new strut mount when mine went out besides the dealer and they were alot cheaper.
And it only took like 5 days with shipping to get it here. The dealer themselves told me it was gonna take 2 weeks.

You guys should try crateenginedepot.com (CED) -- GM dealership and a supporter of CobaltSS.net. Their shipping costs are lower so you end up paying less then through GMPartsDirect. I have nothing against GMPartsDirect -- CED has set up Cobalt car shows and has worked with other major show centers to support the Cobalt and this site -- wouldn't it be a good idea to support the companies that support this site?

Here recently, I ordered spray paint from them and got a different order, that was like 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting on them to send me my product.
If you order anything, just hope you get the right thing, because they don't check emails, I'm lucky I got in touch with them at all. I wouldn't order anything expensive.
