I thought about getting a tranny cooler, not really because I need it, but because I thought be a cool easy project that'd get me some more experience under the hood. My car is unlikely to see anything more than bolt ons and tuning it if ever happens. Could having what is really an unecessary cooler cause any problems as far as making the coolant too cold? I know that was a concern I read on the Ecotec forums.

well im getting the B & M for the feature of not utilizing the cooler until the liquid is warm enough. but the question was how do you add tranny fluid to our auto tranny after putting on a cooler.

I've seen it installed on stock cars and they run just fine.

not really...ive heard theres a plug about halfway up the pan, and when the engines on and idling (after warming up), you should have fluid level with the plug.....theres supposed to be a cap on the top of the trans (hard to reach) to top it off....i cant verify any of this for sure, but it what ive heard
