B&M shift+ opinions...

I just installed this on my car tonight and I love it. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had any probs with it. After seeing how hard it shifts now, I was wondering if this would wear it out faster then usual? I mean i can turn it off which is awesome, just wondering if anyone has had major problems running it.

i have a trifecta trans tune and it shifts fairly hard, but from what i heard the harder an auto shifts the less wear on the clutch packs. kinda like with a manual car. if you shift like a grandma and take your time the clutch gets worn more. but if you shift hard and fast you're minimizing wear.

it didnt make any sense to me at the time then i thought about it for 14$ an hour when i was at work and it started making more sense. lol

Yeah I know the firmer it shifts the less wear your tranny takes. But in stage 2 I can sometimes hear the higher pressure going through the transmission, was just wondering if that can be a problem later. I love how it shifts, my wife hates it though, but after I told her its better on the tranny she understands.
