B&M Shift Plus
I'm very intersted in this. It sounds like something I'd want to get. I got an 05 LS auto and i'd love to get ride of the lag when shifting. Just want to make sure this will help and that it will be fine with a fully stock car. How hard is this to install? Also, i have the plastic cover still on the engine, (2.2) will that need to come off to install this?
Thanks guys!

ok thanks, i did a search for shift plus and didn't come back with that much, did shiftplus as one word and got what i want. seems like a nice little addition to make driving more fun for an auto. Think i'm going to pick it up when i get paid.

Installed mine last week. Would help to remove the cover to install, but can be placed back on.. I chose not to, seeing its summer, why hold in more heat when its 85 outside.

Read it up, look at pictures, if you have questions I can answer and HackAbuse was the original tester so he knows all about it. Let me know, and cash in on the group Buy while you can

thanks you guys. I love how I can change the settings, it is perfect since my mom drives the car some to save some gas vs her suv. Not sure she'll enjoy the chirping so i can turn it off. The 2nd level seems to be the most popular, I haven't herd much of the 3rd, i'm assuming that is for reacing and not used on streets?

im pretty sure its safe. i drive with stage 2 sometimes......you cant change the setting down unless the car is off. you can change it up a setting while on but not down.

I run mine on stage 1 all the time. didn't like the hard kick of stage 2 when doing 20mph down the block. It was definitely nice to crank it up to stage 2 when I got a look pulling onto the highway. I think its all personal preference. I know Hack thinks stage 2 is too mellow, while I prefer stage one (want the smooth ride and a little kick).

you can drive with it on stage 2 all the time if you want it wont harm your tranny..the only reason why ppl dont is cause it's kinda annoying when it kicks all the time.. it dosnt make your car any faster just shortens the Delay between shifting gears

thanks everyone, I was on my way home from work and wanted to see how bad the lags were when on the open road and full throttle. It's very noticeable and def takes a second or two. Can't wait to get paid and get this. I'll probably be back in a couple days asking for help installing it or something, but thanks for all the advice so far.
