Battery Help

ok im sick of jumping my balt i have a pretty loud system in it ect and since its really cold out if i dont start it and let it run the batt goes dead on me. my remote starter does all but fire the engine so thats another problem but ill eventually be putting more lights and ect on the car so should i go with the yellow top i want a battery that can handle my needs (lol that sounds bad) but give me the cranking power in the winter too at least till i can get a pos to drive for a while so what do u guys recommend....an y performance alternators out there.....which battery should i use ect

I've heard the best batteries are the optima brand. Holds a lotta juice.

yea the yellow top is an optima

i had an optima red top in my old S10 and i didn't notice much of a difference over stock

lol dam my battery **** all the time then lmao sooo pretty much as long as i have my system in im going to be replaceing batteries ........note that this only happens in the winter when its warm the battery holds charge but thanks for the help guys

I had the same problem with mine. Battery was 3 yrs old and didnt have enough cold cranking amps anymore to start the car. I replaced it with a optima red top

i used a kinetik battery 2400 series in my ion when i did decibal comps with 4 12in L7s and 2800rms.. it worked great for me kinda a heavy and big battery though.
