Well i'm not sure if the turbo is done for or not but it seems to be working good now, no more smoke. I haven't been underneath it to look at the housing, but all seems ok right now. I'm sure i will still have to rebuild it sooner or later.
I have my first kill, walked a modded turbocharged jetta on the interstate tonight. Got a big thumbs up after i went around him like he was setting still at 100+ mph. The car is running really good, traveled almost 120 miles with it tonight and i am pretty happy with the tune now too... Still alittle rich up top, but other than that, we are getting it figured out...

i was just looking at your idle problem...and i had the same issue going for mine....mine still does it but its very very minor compared to that....i had issue play with the timing and he finally got it...im not sure what he did but at first it would stick around 1krpm at idle and then i told him to drop that idle a little and then it was about 850rpm at idle which was really rough and now it sits a little over 920 or so and its dam perfect....well i just changed out my o2 sensor and it fixed alot of problems as well...as the stock o2 sensor was pretty much done...but good luck with your build...look real clean...cant even tell its turboed...look like a regular cai

Thanks for checking it out... It's getting better, i think it's in the tuning, the weird thing is it comes and goes, sometimes it idles at 1000 to 1100 rpms and it just purrs.

Ok guys, thought i would post a few pics from this past weekend. Carlisle PA, performance and style. These are all the cars that were showing, but there were a shitload of cobalts running around this year...
All of these cars were NICE, the 2tone brandy, silver, and black car on bags took second place, the blue and purple 2 tone car took third. Last year i walked away from this show empty handed, this year i got first place.
I was so bummed after last year, i talked to Jeff (brandy, silver, black car, last years winner) he gave me alot of good honest advice. He was even cool enough to step aside and let me have one this year, lol... Thanks buddy, i know you won't make a habit of it, lol... I worked so hard on this thing after getting blown out last year, it inspired me to take the car to a whole new level, i think it's coming along nicely...
A few of donna's car (gm addiction car)
Also, a few pics of my intake setup. Sorry still no vids of the car running. I got my camera memory cleaned out, i just need some time and someone to ride along and work the stupid thing, lol...
