You got ripped off! Never buy "mod chips" or anything like that on ebay. Its nothing but a resistor.
The funny thing is they say it connects to your IAT which used to be a seperate sensor on previous makes and models, with the cobalt its intergrated into the MAF.
AND DO NOT TRY TO WIRE IT UP.
Plus you should have read the seller reviews, I bet at least 4 said it was a scam.

You fell for an ebay scam. That "mod chip" is actually just a resistor. They claim it does all sorts of things but in reality all its doing is tricking the computers sensor to make it think that it is at an optimal condition such as a specific temperature. However its not actually running at that. In return your cars computer is making the adjustments for fuel and so on to run with that tricked condition which in return actually hurts you on such things as fuel mileage or anything else they claim to improve

guys, this is not a stupid question for a beginner... lots of cars have legitmate chips that DO increase hp... a friend of mine put one in his trailblazer and picked up 28 hp to the wheels... so don't bash someone for something like this... if anything, maybe he should have done a search, but that's why he asked here...

Yea guys yall have had enough fun at this poor guys expense.
Its alright man dont be ashamed to post again. I too fell for the ebay "chip" several years ago when i had my Z24.
Most wont admit it but before they knew better they at least gave them a second glance and thought about it.
Just remember next time if it sounds too good to be true it usually is (and that applies for many many other things on ebay as well). Just before you buy something be sure and do your homework first.
Hope we didnt scare you off man.

well if u do some searching around u'll find that the easiest and most effective mods on the market for our engine is intake and catback. now u could just get an aftermarket muffler if u can't fork for the catback, but i suggest saving your pennies cause its worth the extra cash as everyone who has one can agree. and my friend thats it for "power"

I'm old school
Sorry for all the flaming. However, you seem to have a great attitude about it. That's awesome.
It looks like you got the point to not install that garbage. Too bad you can't return it. I have closed the thread assuming your question has been answered. PM me with any questions.
