to put it simply, yes you can turbo an automatic cobalt as long as you tune the tranny to accept it. alpine is offering a kit with a smt piggyback ecu./

Yes. You can.

Forced Induction has nothing to do with your transmission. Your transmission is what transfers the power from the engine to the wheels.

And to point out further more, I had a L61 that I turbocharged that was an automatic...
