boost gauge wiring diagram

does anyone have the wiring diagram for the stock boost gauge i have been looking online for and hour and cant find it. or if anyone can tell me what the wires are thanks

red=pwr
black=grd
warm color=dimmer
w/e the last one is=signal from electircal sending unit


sorry i forgot the color of the last 2 and im going off memory here

brown signal, grey dimmer...monotone colors that use the gray scale are never signal wires, thats how i remember :p

yeah a lot of time its pretty simple,

red always pwr, black always some sort of ground of switched ground, monotone colors are never singal wires, and w/e is left is a dimmer or backlight source...i use this logic for everything lol

is the gauge mechanical? or how does it know when your in vacume or in boost? where does it get it's signal from? I am going to buy one for my setup and I need to know if I have to get a sensor?

I know this thread is old as sh** but does anyone on here know which sensor to run the signal wire to and which wire off that sensor.. Would be greatly appreciated lol

I believe the signal wire runs to the ECU, explains why it's so slow to respond. Should really just get a mechanical one.
