I read that thread a while back about the guys claiming that they felt more power after installing these, I said WTF, $30...let's do it. So I don't know if it was in my head or not, but they seemed to make a little of a difference. Had them on for about 8k now, with no problems.

I had them for at least 10k also.. I thought they worked good as well but my car went back to the dealer twice in 2 months for the module ontop of the coilpack. The first time they had no idea. 2 months later they said they think it was my spark plugs. They said they were to hot for my engine and they caused that little module to get to hot. They also said using hotter spark plugs will ruin your warranty because its to much for the engine to handle. I personally think they are full of **** because I had my plugs in for 10k and never had a problem till now and I dont see how it would hurt anything. Guess I will find out in another 2 months if it happens again.

What would you suggest for a FI setup, then? Stock work well enough if the vehicle isn't staged? Any suggestions for stage levels (Stage 1 = plug x; Stage 2 = plug y; 2.9" pulley = plug z, etc)? Just curious and thought I would pick your brain.

The stock plugs in the SS/SC are NGK platinum. But if increase the boost you want cooler plugs and a better conducting material. NGK Iridium plugs in one step colder are what I got for my 2.9". Iridium is the best your going to get if you want to be able to use the same plugs for a long time. If you don't mind changing your plugs every time you change the oil, copper would be what you would go with.

Yeah dude I got the upgrades back when I had a Buell, the better spark plugs helped it in the lower RPM's extremely well, and I figure the same thing for a 2 cylinder motor as for a 4, been running about 12K, good stuff if you ask me

yea ngk iriduims or plat or copper . I've heard people that love the + 4 but i've heard more negitives on them then postives in all cars. I think it dpends on how accuritly close the prongs are to where there supposed to be or sumrthing, i wouldnt run them myself. I've always went ngk myself with other cars.

i have +4, they work fine.
copper plugs conduct the best out of all, and are also the least expensive... but you're going to be either cleaning or replacing them often.

i believe a lot of people buy them because theyre more expensive and the commercials tell them they are better. so they think itll make the car run better. kinda like people think super unleaded in their economy cars will make them get better mileage/run better. run ngk or autolite.
