Well that really sucks. I am pretty sure my front mount looks the same as Brandon's, which would make sense since we both have the F23. I was going to upgrade my mounts as well, but I guess I might have to look at inserts for now until I do my F35 swap.
Please keep us posted as to whether or not your rear mount is the same (as the F35), and as to whether or not you decide to go with mount inserts instead.

Yea tell me about it...., i'm so disappointed, they threw me off b/c both sites say it "Works with all 5-speed manual transmission Cobalt/Ion applications".
I think i'm going to see if I can exchange it for the rear trans mount w/cobalt-addiction, rear mount LOOKS like it will mount up properly..... we'll see... I'll keep u updated.

I didn't do my rear mount but I know what it looks like. I have ZZP motor mount and front trans mount along with my CABs. No wheelhop. Brandon I would really try and see if the inserts are feasible for you. You basically get two mounts for 80 bucks. I would think if C-A can get the front mount than they can get the inserts for you.

ZZP trans mount INSERTS
Anyone know if the ZZP trans mount inserts for 79.99 will fit on the 2.2L cobalt w/ the F23 trans (5-speed)??? ZZP page w/ trans mount inserts: http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...ts1.php?id=546
Anyone with a LSJ / SS/SC removed their front trans mount and has pics? / or even better measurements??

Well the great guys at ZZPerformance are going to exchange the front mount for me for the rear trans mount. I'll see how/If it fits and let you all know, I'm hoping to get the new mount by Wed./Thur.
Also see my last post. anyone? lol

Well I got the ZZP rear trans mount installed today. Thanks to my friend Jeremy at ROUSH in Livonia, MI. Haveing the cobalt up on a hoist made the install painless (cept for jeremy who burned hisself a little on my CAT) haha.
Performance-wise, the mount is sweet, shifting is a lot smoother, feelslike there is more power being planted to the ground. No wheel-hop at all even though its wet outside here today. FYI the 3 bolts holding in the mount are 15mm, the bolt going through the mount is 18mm.
Comfort-wise, HOLY-Vibration! especially at low RPM's / when starting from a stop / cruising in 5th at a relatively low-speed etc. I'm hoping it'll break in a little b/c the vibration is a little excessive right now (and I'm all about performance) my dash vibrates like crazy right now its so bad. Definatly not for the faint of heart(whatever that means) lol.
Some pics of the stock rear trans mount (for the hell of it):
And the new ZZP rear trans mount:
