brake booster delete

Has anyone done a brake booster delete? I'm shaving and tucking my engine bay and I wanna clear up some space cause I'm gonna be building a "sidewinder" turbo manifold like what a lot of hondas use that have the K swap in them and I'm relocating the fuse panel as well.
I know a few guys that done this in other cars, just wanna see if anyone has with these cars.

Why in the hell would you want to do that? That's a pretty important part of your braking system.

you'll need a different master cylinder, one meant to work on it's own, like a wilwood or something. And since these cars share a master cylinder for the brakes and clutch, you'd need a separate master cylinder for the clutch too. You'd have to have legs like a horse to stop the car without the booster.

Would be a hell of a workout for sure.

OP, it might be possible, but it doesn't seem to be worth it at all.

Exactly, the guys that do wire tucks do this for show purposes usually. I never understood the whole concept but it is your car.

For a show car only that never sees anything but the inside of a trailer? Sure. For anything else, you are retarded.

Thanks for the some advise ppl gave, more negitive then not, my buddy said wilwood too for the booster, that engine bay looks nice, I wish I could upload pics with my phone I'd show u my buddies, there's over 1000 hrs in his engine bay alone, my car I want manual steering and manual brakes, for a few reasons, I come on here looking for advise on stuff to see what ppl have done and so one, but instead I get more bash talk then anything, my car before long will be 90% show car, and driven only when its super nice out. My subframe is 2.75 inches from the ground, and I'm still going lower! Minus this time with a skid plate sense I have smashed my oil pan once.
For those who care ill keep posted with a new build thread on here.

We have electric steering, none of it is in the engine bay anyways? How would you go manual lol?

But look into wilwood. They have some good setups for things like what you're trying to do.

Look up da flyin swrils build on j-body.org. He did it.

I've driven a car with manual brakes. If you're racing you dont even notice (because you come up to the corner and push the brake like you life depends on it and hope you slow down enough and/or dont lock up the wheels), never driven one on the street though. I would think it would be a major pain in the ass (well the whole leg really).

Did you get the recall done? My mom's cobalt went from feeling like you were driving the car holding onto the wheel with a dead guys hands between your hands and the wheel. After the recall it feels almost ok.

Can't wait to see a cobalt fully tucked. There was a guy that did a mild wire tuck but idk if he ever finished it.

I think it would be cool if chris could pull it off actually. And I seen him driving today so this business of him losing his license is false.
