Park the car in Reverse (If you have a stick) or in Park (Auto), jack up the rear. Ebrake must be off.
Grab the biggest ******* hammer you can find and beat it like it just raped your mother. You should be able to then pry it off once you break all the rust loose. If not, beat it some more.

then why would you even post jackass. and for your information yes i do know how to adjust the brakes down, there is a specific tool that makes it easier which i will try tom. i just wanted to know if there was anything special about the cobalt as far as brake drums are concerned.
Paint it black...(listen to the Rolling Stones...lol)

Sorry bro, but I gotta agree with the majority. Dont go red on the drums.....
If thats what your heart is set on then by all means, but painting them red is like walking into a room and announcing that you have a small *****....

if you want. red would be fine. but just black would be fine for both the drum and caliper. i personally wouldnt draw attention to a stock brake system. but to each their own
