brakes

http://brakeperformance.com/site/bra...promo.12.12.08 I was just wondering if these would fit my car. I have an 07 LT with 5 lug pattern. I know that this car has a weird brake size but these say they should fit. anyone know for sure.

they look sweet, i am a noob here so i am not sure what all you should look at, does the description match your vehicle type exactly? I usually hit the sites with a question through their contact button to be sure, at least it will point me in a direction. Also, some dealership are super friendly, meaning ask the parts department for more information you should be looking for when purchasing a set of aftermarket discs. just a thought, i have always had luck when asking those guys too

I wouldn't trust them just because they don't have any brand info listed anywhere.

I would stay away from drilled rotors on an average car. Slotted would be just fine for an everyday car.

We have sold a number of crossdrilled and dimpled and really had zero issues with either.

I was trying to find a brake that fits a 5 lug non ss car. This was the first one that i found but since then I have found that r1 concepts makes a brake for my car just trying to figure out what to get slotted/drilled or both...

I would go with either blanks or slotted. You could do slotted/dimpled (such as what EBC carries for our cars). I personally am just going with a higher quality blank rotor and Hawk HPS or EBC pads. I'm also upgrading to SS brake lines.

i remember a while back seeing a set of drums that were slotted, since i have an LT the only thing is I would have a set of really nice drilled/dimpled/slotted on the front and then stock drummers on the back...
