break booster sea foam

I am not sure if this it the right place for this question but I am trying to Sea Foam my 2005 cobalt which has 90000 miles on it. I am trying to find clear pictures on where in hose is for the break booster. can anyone give me a clear pic on where the brake booster hose is or where an easier place to put the sea foam into the intake. I would really like a clear picture. I know this is the best place to get my question answered.

well i dont have a pic but i can explain how to do it....ok the location of the break booster is... connected to the intake manifold...it is the only hose that connects to the plastic manifold towards the bottom of it...what you wana do is follow that hose to where it goes to the firewall...disconnect it... start the car and poor about half in through that hose...it will almost suck it in...dont worry ur car will rev a little higher then normal so dont worry...after your done with that then turn ur car off reconnect ur hose...then start ur car back up and poor the rest down the throttle body basically until it stalls...poor it slowly so u can get it all in there...if it doesnt stall out just turn the car off when u poor it all in...wait like 10 min...then start her up...it might be a rough start but i will start...let it run for like 30 seconds...rev it a little and u should see that white cloud behind ur car

yes that is correct now follow that hose back...to the brake booster...or you can connect another hose to feed the seafoam into that location....have fun smoking your neighbors

I did the Seafoam on my wife's Sunfire which also has an Ecotec 2.2 when it hit 100k miles.

I will say this, the instructions say you can use the brake line, but... it also says to try to find an inlet that allows for all the intake runners to suck in the Seafoam.

Look at how that brake booster on the Ecotec 2.2 leads to just one runner.

End result, one clean runner, one clean port, one clean combustion chamber and some crap blowing out the back of the car.

That is not going to feed all 4 runners, head port, and combustion chambers.

For the Ecotec, it is better to let the TB sip a little at a time and it will distribute the fluids more evenly.

I did this, and I was happy to see that I had very minimal crap come out the exhaust, almost nothing. The car ran smoother, sounded smoother, and idles better after this.

Yes I put 1/3 in the gas, 1/3 in the TB and 1/3 in the oil (of which was put in the oil right before an oil change and idled with it in there for 8 minutes)

Understand that I had a fuel service done at 85k miles so not much had built up.
When I had the 85k mile service done, a lot came out then.
