broke da BANK

well guys i just got done going on a spending spree..." woooo hooo" i just bought a msd dash hawk... an injen cold air intake nd im going to the dealer today to buy my gmpp exaust.. in 2 weeks im planning on installing a zex wet nitrous kit nd im going to throw down a 75 shots with that,,,, my expected hp gains with all the bolt ons will hopefully b around 220-240...." hope" thats with the juice.. with out im lookin to throw down 150-160 with full bolt ons..

so with that said how far off are my number... lol i know my car will be a monster seeing how eco-taks love nitrous just like how cobalt ss tuner loves *****.." chickens that is"

anybody

for the love of god somebody has to know if my numbers are even close!!!!!

well considering I think the 2.2s dyno at around 120 or so stock I don't think you're necessarily going to get 40 HP since you can't use HP tuners, the 2.4s have enough trouble getting to 190 with full bolt ons.

realistically I would see you putting down about 200 HP with the 75 shot considering someone on the ion forums had a 75 shot on their 2.2 and actually got a 56HP increase or so

without nitrous I would think you would put down about 140-150 with full bolt ons but i would think even the 150 would be pushing it.

you want to lend me some money so i have the rest of my money for my procharger?? since you seem to be so keen on giving it away haha

^^ true a n/a car wont get 75 hp out of a n/a car... an then with a f/i car it pretty much doubles you hp... we were at the dyno the other day an a kid in an srt-4 sprayed a 150 shot get an instant 204 hp to the wheels lol... so nitrous will help but wont get you your gains like you want plus... a nitrous engine will blow... its going to happen weather its after like 10 bottels or 2 it will blow try to stay away from the juice! or at least lower your shot to extend the life of your motor

just be safe... long as you have it set up correctly... and don't use it constantly your should be alright... talk to slowion2 on ion forums about it, i'm sure he'll be able to help you he's a nos guru...

well i orig went up there to go with my friend an have his gsx tuned then the guy is like i bet your car doesnt even make 200whp if gm claims 205 i was like wanna bet hes like sure ill give u 4 pulls for free if it makes over 200... i showed him lol... an my freinds gsx made 372whp and 333wtq... an needs a few more things to run right

umm what? since when does injecting extra fuel & air into your motor blow it up? pushing your motor passed its factory limits will lessen your engines life regardless of how its done. this also holds true to your suspension, brakes and wheels...its called stress.

I've lost count on how many bottles I've gone through on this car and my motor still feels as strong as it did bone stock.

well talking with the guy that owns the dyno he said itwill eventually blow... lesser shots will last longer... obviously.. an the higher shots will last less.. proteamns that run there nitrous cars do rebuilds alot.. u will eventually blow your engine.. if u have a 50 shot i dont see it happing very soon.. but say a 100 shot there will b a time it will happen.. nitrous does engine damage little by little

well its a wet shot and from what the build books says its more then safe to run a 75 shot.... the kit im going to buy has both 50 shot nd 75 shot set up... the build book says 50 shot nd 10 lbs of boost from a charger of sorts.. so i figure the extra 25 shots will equal the 10 lbs of boost... or so.. im not really worries.. i have a friend who through a 2.2l in to his cavi same engine.. with a 75 shot wet nd he has so far hasnt had any problems.. ill use my dashhawk to monitor my a/f ratio nd different temps though out the car to be on the safe side also im going to run a window switch nd a full thottle switch just for safe measures... im going forged internals this fall so im really not to worried.. but if i if the hawk records anything that looks sketchy them im going to drop my shot down to a 50 or smaller... i think im going about it the right way

WAMMY!!!! LOL i knew they dynoed better ive heard thay they dynoed around tha number 2 but i wasnt going to say anything about it nd just drop my dyno sheets on the table on a later date

how the hell do they dyno at 140 and 2.4s dyno at 150?? if that...

2.2s are rated for 140 ... and i'm pretty sure they're not under rated

personaly i dont think my 2.2l is an average 2.2l.. i mean i raced a 2.2 auto with full exaust nd intake nd i spanked him by a car nd a half.. raced a 2.2 manual with an intake nd i took him by car / car nd a half... somebody explain that to me all of them from a role nd a stop.;..
