CAI Question

As some may know i made my own CAI, now i have a question for those who have bought one!

the question is...

is your air filter located infront of your passanger tire?
also can you drive your car in the rain with out it boging out on you?

i can drive mine fine and yes, mine is in front of the passenger tire right in behind the fog light. and i have the JDM intake by the way.

Same here. I opt'ed for the very cheap Fujita air intake system that uses that plastic intake cover then goes down into the front right fender. I've never noticed any problems with it. I think the rule of thumb goes, if you see water and dont know how deep it is. DONT GO THROUGH IT

do youa ll have wheel linners?
i dont.
and its not that i got thru water cause i dont, the road could be wet and the car will bog

put the wheel well liners back in as your putting water directly onto your filter from the wheel's spinning.
