yeah but like, i dont even know how to find a turbo to fit a turbo manifold. It seems easier then supercharging though. Iam gonna have to get a complete parts list going this way i can start piecing something together.
and that would be like 210 crank? or is that to high

180? You guys are going off to much talk and an uncorrected dyno. There is a guy on here with full bolt-ons and stg1 cams and he put down ~165whp. He has the links and everything in his sig. Lets be generous and say a bolt on 2.2 makes 155whp you think just a stage 1 cam will bump it up 30whp+?
Talking about Nwae hanging with LSJ's from a roll? Anything can happen on the street be he only traps 94mph and even a stock LSJ should have a decent pull.
Not hating, just saying.

Yeah, but your more likely to find used SC parts than a used Turbo kit.
Probably close to the same.

I don't know if it's complete but if you search there are list on here. Many threads about the swap. Don't worry about the TB I'm sure he just bought one and has it on the list twice. I haven't read the whole list.

meaning like i got a turbo manifold wit a T25 flange and the turbo is a T25, so that way the flanges match up. if you get a T3 flange manifold you can bolt up T3 series turbos. and yea, a 2.5" exhaust is plenty good until you start goin over 300hp then you will want to up it to about 3"

turbos less parts. the only hard part is getting the oil feed and return lines on and the charge pipes. other than that it would be cake.

I would bet the reason why they trap faster is because they have ~40whp more stock, not to mention more argessive gearing..
I did some searching and found the guy I was talking about (Copson20). He has full bolt-ons and stage 1 cams..don't expect 180+whp... (also his dyno is corrected)

well i just feel turbos easier cause less parts to **** up on. like i have no problem buying quality parts at a exspensive price the only thing i can see ebaying is the charge piping and possibly the intercooler

How do you figure that? Lets use the Stage 1 corrected Dyno...
163whp a LSJ dyno's 215whp on average stock.. (many have dynoed in the 220's)... Thats 52 WHP..
Lets say he is ~175 corrected (probably still alittle lower) on Stage 2 cams..
Thats a 40WHP diff.
Hell, Just add OTTP S1 (and nothing else) and it's got ~95+WHP on the Stage 1 Cam dyno and ~75+whp on the Stage 2 cams (guessing a generous 175whp corrected).
