im not sure if i read vinces e-mail right but i think he said somethin about the computer automatically tuning itself for the octane cause i remember askin him if he can tune me for 93 and 98 octane gas when i ordered my tune

I used to burn 94 when i used nitrous but when I continued to run the fuel after the track, the car would run like ass and eventualy throw a code. When the tank was empty and I filled with regular the code went away

thats like 230 crank... i was looking at the other thred witht he supercharger on a stock 2 pulley guy ran low 14 almost 13;s with just that makes every decision of building that much harder (
okay so what would you estimate a 1/4 mile time with 2.4 intake mani, CAI, Cat back,Header,Downpipe,Pullies,Cams,2.4 TB,Tune and a 50-75 shot. That has to be close to 300hp? maybe 275hp but whats the 1/4 time estimate?

it also depends on your cams, what kinda valve train your get are you planning on raising the redline much? cause you will have to get your crank rebalanced for higher RPM's also you will need a clutch to grip all this power along with good tires to get traction, finally what kinda safety precautions are you planning to run with your nitrous?
and idk a 1/4 time alot of that will depend on the driver at that point but you could easily be in the low 13's and if your good i dont see why high 12;s wouldnt be possible

and ya, you could see some low 13s or so witha good driver
and as for octane, it will pull timing for lower, so tune for highest pump gas (92-94 depending) and let that work for you
i ran 92 for 1.5 years before tune and no problems, ran fine, and no cel....

what do you mean saftey percautions like wot switch,bottle warmer? and really so i can have almost a 300 hp cobalt with out turbo or supercharger ) that makes me happy that a 12 second car is possible! iam gussing i should run 93 octan and occasionally use octane boost?

fuel pressure switch, rpm window switch, nitrous pressure switch, necessary relays and the appropriate gauges.
keep in mind i didn't buy the fuel and n2o pressure switchs. i did keep a scale in the trunk. window switch is a must for spraying in first.......if you're into that sorta thing.

so auto maybe better, no misshifting, also u say 14's so like in the other thread where i posted lets say even on your car if you had stg 2 cams,2.4tb,2.4im,header,dp,catback,intake,pulley and trifecta tuned with a 75 shot i feel like thats a fast car right there lol capable of low 13's?
