So far it has been two days with the TB. and the car is amazing. everything is smooth except for the awesome lobe of the cam!! LOL it is sweet when you come to a stop and it doesnt sound like ****. Now i do have to say that since it is cold here i mean cold it jumped for a min only but it goes away and idles high until warm. i will get a Video of the start up and tell me what you guys think and coming to a stop from inside the car. But I think that if i am happy with the results you guys will be too. and i have my idle speed set to 900 with no problem. tell me if you guys set that to 900 now how rough it will be for you LOL.

So before i get drunk, naked, lose my phone and get arrested. I' wishing you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS

Well since you live in PA o3nisoaso3 is a dealer in you state and i talk to him frequently, but you have to PM on the price. but he can tune your car through Vince. I am a dealer too for Missouri.

But Vince is awesome and work's with everyone to make sure they are as happy as possible..

Right Guys??!!!???!

yea i was just wondering. all i have is the injen intake, but i still wouldnt mind a tune to firm up the shifts, maybe gain a few more hp etc. just want to see if its worth the price.

copson20,

You wouldnt happen to have a picture of the 2.4 t/b bolt pattern would you? Is it the same as the 2.0 t/b? I know when i put the 2.4 intake many i had to use an adaptor plate to re-use the 2.2 t/b.

If the 2.4 t/b bolt patern is the same as the 2.0 t/b then i wont have to have an adaptor plate made for the LS4 t/b

Yea the PE delay will help so when you hit the gas it's instant. and yea thats what i wanted to do was go with the 2.4 manifold and the 2.4 TB. i'll search some junkyards or buy the 2.4 mani and get the TB from a dealer

LOL I'll feel real shitty then.

Ready for that Race LOL

what about the LS4 t/b's ?

never mind, found it. 159 for a new one on gmpartsdirect

and it apears to have the same bolt pattern as the 2.4 t/b. hmmmmm i may just go to a junk yard and pick up an LS4 t/b just to see if will w/ no modifications, i.e. adaptor plate. hmmmmm ill keep you guys posted. I already know the correction value for Vince to use as a starting point for the idle air field.

the LS4 bolt pattern is the bottom intake mani in this picture... the top mani is an LS2 intake mani

porting does a lil more than 10whp by itself so the bigger exhaust and new tune will be over 180whp

Just did.

Okay for an update on the TB testing with cams. I think that the 900 RPM idle is way low. the car runs better with a 975-1100RPM I prefer the 1000 Idle. See when i drive the car like normal human LOL. it is okay. when i drive like i stole it (everyday for me LOL) and i come to a stop or let out the clutch and let the car come to a idle really fast it does the thing that it wants to die. Now with that being said it does it once and then it comes right back to normal idle of 900. Like things are moving to fast for it. Instead of it being jumpy MPcobalt and Nick know what i mean. But the question that you are thinking is, Does the TB still fix the problem that we had before YES in my book. Now im going to test this more after the 1st to see how the 1000rpm idle is. and will keep you posted.

i like my 1k idle. it still surges when i coast to a stop or brake to a stop, either way it doesnt matter.

i hope a TB upgrade will fix this issue for me. the way its acting when it surges its almost like its starving for air?!

yeah im thinking 1000 would be nice. Does your surge more than once, or does it just do it once

it surges right up until i come to a stop. flux's around 850 to 1100 till i come to a stop then holds at 1000. before vince set my idle to 1k it use to come close to stalling out.
