car budget

ok, well consider a highschool student with a job working 25hrs a week right now can afford to invest 500-700 dollars into my car (2.2 ls). it only has a very poorly crafted catback on it with a knock off muffler, that was on there when i bought the car. im thinking id like to purchase the megan catback, but im in need of others opinions on what else to buy. like should i get the 2.4 intake manifold? whatever i decide to buy needs to be cost effective and well worth it. give me some ideas please and thanks.

this is kinda the easy way to get out of doing research, butive done lots of research, but when i do research things i end up second guessing myself and i become very indecisive. id jsut like to know what everyone else thinks.

what reign suggested are your best bets for the budget you have laid out... Keep an eye on the classified section and you can find a deal on things

The cost effectiveness is going to be strictly up to you.. only you can determine if what you spent was worth it..

Decide whether you want performance mods or appearance mods.. you can do some small appearance mods for not that much money.

Buy the GMPP catback to make it sound better and save the rest. You may need it for something else at a later date.
