With as hard as i run my car and how often she gets revved out, the psi of the oil gets higher more often and because of increased pressure in the crank case and oil in the head it can cause oil to be sucked into your intake through the hose that is ont here stock and then intake mani, past and on valves and into the combustion chamber which are all things you dont want. This will stop any of that from happening and even if it doesnt, 25$ is cheap insurance for not ******* up the engine somehow or gumming up the valves

mine has lasted so far, had some really hard runs on it and its holding up. Did you bother to check all the pieces to make sure they were tight before installing??? Mine werent 100% tight so i tightened them...not really sure HOW it could break really. Its a solid cyl, all it does is let air pass through and dump oil...NOW..if you had other issues and were blowing ALOT of pressure through there...then i could see MAYBE something going wrong...but this thing really would be hard to brake...and IF it did...its not going to hurt anythign unless it explodes and shoots pieces of metal into the intake...(NOT going to happen)...So your pretty safe here...

This is mine but these engines are very well built so I've noticed very little oil if any come out of the crankcase.

I run mine to atmosphere because I don't actually have anywhere to plumb it back to, so I'm running something a little different...

Two taps off the VC both run into here. One from each end...

I didn't pay $80...

They must have raised the price after I ordered it, cause my invoice was about $60.
