CEL day after magnaflow ca-tback install?
Well I installed an intake a week or so ago, no probs. Got my magnaflow installed last night. Drove around a little bit no probs, went for a ride this morning no problems until half way through my ride then a cel came on... any ideas??

It could potentially be due to the combination of your intake and exhaust which have naturally increased your flow both in and out. Since your catback is after your secondary O2 assuming you didn't clip that during the install I see no other reason you'd be throwing a code. Give it a few start cycles and see if the code clears itself...if not have the dealer read it I would imagine it's a 171 lean code.

ok good news and bad news.
CEL is gone. At the same time I noticed the light go out. Anytime around 4k RPMs it it will like bog out and will not go past 4k rpms.... anyone deal with this, what is it,will it go away.. kinda scared?

When this happens does anything come up on your DIC indicating power reduced or any other information or does it just hit a brick wall and refuse to go any farther? If the engine is bogging it could very well be related to the intake and have nothing to do with the exhaust at all, check for any leaks in and around your intake...especially the vaccuum hose. I just can't understand how a catback could cause this unless there are severe leaks and you're losing back pressure all together...it's gotta be the intake.
I remember reading something about this on the forums but can't remember if anyone had modified it or not...it was also an automatic...I'll see if I can find it back.
