cel and tc light after install
I got my zzp header/dp on and disconnected the negitive battery terminal and the lights went away, then they came back, should I just try doing this again?

make sure your rear o2 sensor wires are not run right next to the piping or the o2 sensor is pressed against the heat shield....if the o2 sensor is pressed against the heat shield then fix wires and replace your Emissions fuse (10Amp) in your fuse box under the hood...if none of that then its prolly just the CEL that everyone throws because of the high flow cat....you need to have it deleted off your pcm for it to go away...you can get the code diagnosed at Autozone or somethin....they do free diagnostic scans

Ok so, I disconnected my negative terminal for 15 mins, when I turned the car off it stalled stalled stalled then the lights came back on and it ran fine, so to make a long story short, I still have the lights on, I have to get inspected in like 2 days, so will these lights being on cause a problem for me passing?
which fuse is it?

no.i always disconnected the neg to drain the car for 15 mins..the push the brakes to make the charge go out of the pcm.....anyway..the fuse you can check is the EMS (Emissions fuse) under the hood its a 10Amp fuse...if its blew then replace it..also that means you have a short at one of your o2 sensors if its blown...you should go to autozone and get the codes scanned an put here what the code numbers are that its throwing so we can get this fixed for your asap
since you have the zzp midlength combo i'd check that fuse first tho..i'd be willing to bet that its blown

no...if your throwing a CEL they will auto fail it.....all CEL's must be cleared for i think 3 days before going into an emissions for them to not register....what prolly happened is your exhaust slid going around the corner and your rear o2 sensor touched your heat shield...that made the fuse blow and you need to check that fuse....i'm still willing to bet that its blown....Emissions fuse 10Amp under the hood in the fuse box

well if you go to an autozone....they do free diagnostics and then you can post up the code numbers and we can help you fix them

again i'd check the Emissions fuse as well..thats a big place ppl overlook and i overlooked also....you should also get the diagnostics done so we know what code your throwing and can help you fix it....like i said.Autozone and most automotive places do free diagnostic checking so you won't have to pay anything
