Did you get the right heat range?

Did you get the same type of plugs even?

If not then you should.

no need for a spark upgrade when car is not highly modified, go back to stock plugs

probably not worth upgrading the plugs at this point, especially not to colder ones. if anything, i'd just throw in a set of Bosch Platinum +4's to smooth things out.

If you are thinking about changing wires on your Cobalt there is no need. The Ecotec doesn't have plug wires. The sparkplug caps and everything else are integrated into one unit. Its the black plastic part on top of the engine that says 2.2 Ecotec.

The ecotec uses a thing called compression sensetive coil modules or a combination of something like that, cant remember the exact name. But anywho, if you put something other than ac delco/ gm plugs in there, you have a greater risk for setting bogus codes, cause well honestly, most of the other plugs are low quality imitations.

as long as your stock plugs are good there is really no need to change them. there is no power increase from the plugs but you may notice better idle and a smoother start up. Again though, if your stock plugs are fine there is no reason to.

as for colder plugs you only need them when you are going to a first induction setup, they aren't going to hurt you in NA form.

first off you dont really need to change the spark plugs on the ls less your boosting or shooting nos are you doing ither of those two casue the spark plug really isnt going to do anything for you. but i dont know if the ls plug space is different from my ss sc but it stock gap it .35 and i gapped them at .28 and the rough idleing problems went away and no cel light ither your best bet is to go back to your stock plugs thou bro LATERS'
