Check Engine Light.....!!!!!!!AHHH HELP
so my check engine light is on, now my mods are B@M shift Plus Injen Intake, Magnaflow exhaust and breathers on intake and crankcase.....now before the light came on the check gas cap kept comming up, that went away then MY CEL came on. So i went and ran the code at auto zone..the guy said it was the typical gas cap code but there were a couple other things including one of my banks runninin lean, a crack in the evap canister?, and a few others ....so i tightened the gas cap really well and cleared the code...and it came back on a couple days later...should i buy a new one...i checked the seal but since i boght used i dunno what a normal one looks like..and i really dont want to go off of the word of some guy at autozone ya now?
thanks in advance guys!

Check and recheck that intake. Unmetered air is getting in from somewhere.
If its sealed tight clean the MAF and SCIP sensor (located on top of SC). Reset the light and see if that helps!

There are more things than just your gas cap that will cause evap codes. Could be, vent valve, purge valve, fuel tank pressure sensor, the fuel module sealing ring on the tank, any of the emission lines between the fuel tank and the engine or the evap canister. Pretty much need to know the code, to help. Usually it p0442 or something like that.
As for the fuel trim code, i agree with chris88z24, most likely unmetered air getting in from somewhere. I would check everything over real good on your intake.
