Christmas Time...

What's up everyone? I've been away from the boards for a while being busy with a lot of random **** and no money for upgrades. But now with Christmas fast approaching, I thought I'd ask for your input...

Here are my ideas: Pacesetter Header, or the GM Extruded Honed Performance Exhaust Manifold? If I got either of these, would it be best to also get a new downpipe and exhaust system? (Note: I still have stock exhaust)

Which brings me to my next option...of an exhaust system. Looking at the magnaflow, quite appetizing indeed. But again, to make the best use of it, should I buckle down and just get the downpipe and header to install it all at once? Or can it be done later on without too much of a hassle?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Thanks for any input.

the exhaust system can be installed seperatly without hassle. As for the header. Im going to be picking up the pacesetter because i got their cat back. With the pacesetter you do need to make your own downpipe, local exhaust shop can take care of that. I don't know much about the GM header.

I would go with the pacesetter even though you have to weld a DP on. It flows better and cheaper too. I dont see payin over $300 for only 30 cfm more than stock.

You can do the GMPP header yourself with no additional parts or money spent. The pacesetter is a better part, but you will spend more money on the custom DP fabrication and installation. There have been a few problems with CEL's on the Pacesetter due to O2 sensor location.

So if I went with the GMPP, would I be losing performance, in comparison to the Pacesetter? Would it be necessary (or beneficial) to also get a downpipe along with the GMPP? Sorry for all the noob questions, but, well...I am what I am :-/
