Cleaning Injen filter with K&N cleaning kit

i was just wondering if you could clean an injen filter with the kit that you use to clean the K&N filters with. i have a half used kit for the K&Ns in my garage and seeing that no stores locally carry injen cleaning kits i need to know whether or not the K&N oil will screw anything up.

im going with no. but before i take this thing and ruin it i'd like some opinions

Thats all I used for my injen intake on my ss/sc and never had any problems with it. Just don't over do the spray and you won't get any codes.
