clutch?
whats up everyone.
im just making a post to see who runs what clutch and how do you like it.
i have a turboed 2.2 and i has a stage 4 six puck from clutch masters and it slipped on me, flywheel wasnt redone, got a spec stage 3+ and it slips as well, spec said its a defult but my warrenty is over due and cant help me out, so i lost it on them and told them to **** them selves, just wondering if anyone has any other makes and what not. also is anyone running a twin disc clutch?

twin disc is 2300$ and drivebility is poor.
did u make 500 miles of stop and go?
500 mile of breaking down. i mean, driver few kilometer and stop. during 500miles, i know its too much but it is the way to get all surfaces matched. then you should be able to split a axle shaft in half
if your flywheel surface is not blue spotted, not glossy is still ok
your clucht disc was not matched for the flywheel side. that why you slip

I have had the spec stage 2+ on for almost 2 years now and I have not had one problem with it. Drives really close to stock and holds like a champ. I had the flywheel resurfaced before it went on and after the installation I just babied for 150 miles.

i m running a stg 0.5 from cavalier and i could be ready for boost application
but get a very good break in and you ll appreciate your stg2.
good luck. my break in is done but still has some issue. but it is the way it is go.
when i say that twin disc is undriveabale, it is very good at the track but in city drive it is hard to drive.

I had no issues on my Exedy Stage 2. I also did the clutch break in during my motor break in for 1000 miles. And my power was around 290 bhp.
How does it drive? I love it, but its nothing like stock. It clamps quick, like about 2 inches from the floor. It takes a little to get used to but its nice and firm. Much better then stock if you ask me.
