Yes. It's pointless if extra fuel demand isn't needed.

I've pretty much got the entire car at my disposal and since I fix their computers and give then a good deal they give me a good price on all my parts and labor in return.

Ok so for anyone who wants to know, the entire exhaust including the manifold bolted right up to my car without a hitch.

I now have the full SS exhaust system

Haha I haven't even started the car yet, I just phoned the shop and asked and he says it's on they are just waiting on a gasket to seal it and we're done.

I'll let ya know when I get it back,

the difference is incredible compaired to the size of my stock exhaust, it's like night and day

Well there is a minor fitment issue with the cat, it's so large compaired to the old one that it hits the front swaybar when the cars in gear because of the vibration.

Its gonna be fixed tomorrow, but the car sounds GREAT and it has a LOT more pick up than before. and it's sitting nice on lowering springs now, gonna give it about 2 weeks to settle then get an alignment

Hey Red Base Bolt, it looks great man! I was just wondering if it voided your warrenty? I'm ready to use my brothers stock SS exhaust, but I'm worried about the warrenty. Thanks!

who cares about the worrenty on an exhaust that you take off your car.
plus they'd have to prove that the exhaust is what caused the problem, no chance of that happening. besides GM themselves are selling exhausts, and the SS/SC exhaust is made by GM. I'd say put your brothers stuff on enjoy and don't give it another thought.

Well GM doesn't know it's on there, and to be honest. the techs at the service center I go to wouldn't have a clue anyways

I don't know if it voids anything or not. It's prolly the whole thing of "Prove it caused the problem and the warranty is void" or they have to fix whatever broke ya know?

the part Adam leftout:
without tuning you'll blow up your engine...the swap was done by 'yellowshowbalt' but he had a ton of issues and last I heard he blew something up. a sacrifice in the name of cobalts...but don't do the same to your daily driver plz

Nah no problems.

Physically it will fit. GM even made a kit for the J-bodies. They are the same engine dimensions and the same bolt patterns. I think the only change was a different alternator.

But yes, with anything, you'd need to have some type of fuel management.

He said it was a clogged cat.

More than likely cause he was dumping fuel like crazy.
