cobaltalex's SC 2.2L build thread

im Alex i have 2005 base model cobalt coupe. at 72k, manual.
Current Mods that are performance and handling: short ram intake, tsudo cat back, 3" catted CA downpipe, bad mab shorty header, twm short throw shifter, TTR motor mount, sportline lowering springs, 16" moteggi MR7 rims with continental low pro tires.

i bought almost complete SC kit from 06 SS/SC with 38k that converted to a hahn turbo kit from another member on her. I yet have some more parts to buy.

i still need to buy:
AEM UEGO Wideband gauge
Autometer pro comp ultra lite oil pressure gauge or tans or oil temp
ZZP dual pass endplate
One step colder spark plugs
most likely some bolts

my triple gauge pillar should be here soon
and im most like trading my upper radiator hose with a local guys lsj one hopefully.
i have a OTTP stage one H/E and the stock lsj H/E
i have a Autometer pro comp ultra lite boost gauge
***Tune by trifecta- local member is gonna help me.

black thing looks like pcv hose from the back of an lsj lol can;t tell for sure pics too small

get rid of that stock pulley and those injectors

you'll be happier with the results

I can't wait to put it on. Will probably end up changing pulley and injectors cause I heard boost is addicting like crack lol

you will need another stud/bolt for the intake manifold, you have one in the picture by itself.

Bump just bought the oil temp gauge tonight. Also bought to buy zap dual pass yet tonight.

And whats the part number for the spark plugs I need?

Btw 07cobaltguy is helping me with it. Should be cool, we will take pics and I will take video clips of start up and first drive.

just got my NGK plugs! i feel so much closer. friday hoping to purchase wideband. then i just need miscellaneous stuff like the missing bolt/stud any others and heater hose, coolant, clamps. shrink tube and wire connecters.

On the stock pulley he should pull on a stock pulley SS/Redline. Speaking from experiance. So he should make some local hondas cry.
