Many members prefer the Injen intake system. It is a 2 piece design, as it is a cold air intake, and can also be convertered to just a warm air intake (for winter, or whatever reason)
We have them on special this weekend ONLY for 224.99 free ship

Injen works the best. But why is this in the 2.2l forums when he has a 2.0 supercharged. also it is not a 2 piece design for the cobalt ss s/c. another side note bypass valve wont work with forced induction engienes.

Cool, I didn't realize the Injen was 2 pieces. Unless GM comes out with something I will be getting that with a bypass.
Does anyone know what size the piping is on the Injen?

Basically, the problem with the By-Pass is simple. If the air filter is dirty and the SC or Turbo is trying to suck in alot of air, there is a chance that the By-Pass will open a bit and divert air from the engine bay. THe By-Pass is filtered and given a choice of a restrictive airfilter and colder air, or free flowing but a bit warmer, I'll take warm over less any day.
If the valve was installed after the turbo lets say, it would cause masive problems under and off boost. The only thing that should open after a turbo, is a blow off/by-pass valve. (Not AEM By-Pass in this case)

i just installed my K&n Intake from modern performance, NO engine code im friggin happy. it sounds SOOOO loudd!!! i heard my friends Injen intake, the supercharger whine is about HALF of what K&n is. SOO much better, if its louder, its GOTA be breathing better lol, either way i would suggest K&n intake i have had no problems, fitment was tight, but means no stiffness, not much shimmy and loosening of bolts and ****
