If you drive through puddles all the time then your asking for it. But that's why there is a splash shield where the intake goes

my vote goes with k&n i heard the injen, the whine of the Supercharger isnt as loud, and i would trust k&n with an american car any day over injen. just my thoughts. K&n has little to NO movement, very tight so it doesnt rattle much also

Maybe the Injen is sucking in more air and making more noise and drowning out the whine of the SC. K&N sucking in a little less air and making less noise = louder whine??
I have a 2.2L, K&N doesn't even have a CAI for the 2.2L or the didn't when I bought my Injen from TTR. Also on the 2.2L the Injen is good for 8.4HP and 7.8 ft/lbs.

You dont even have a supercharged cobalt? from what i read anywayz the K&N gives more torque and HP than injen, Better fitment also. one peice tight fit and wont rattle off or anything. again i say its american, if tthey can make intakes for american trucks when noone else tries or can, i think id trust em for american cars more. OHH and i forgot to mention NO CEL. either, my friend with the injen had a code, along with alot of other people i talked to. maybe u should have a SC so u can have first hand experience.

Oh well from what i understood this was the SS forums. i must be wrong since i keep seeing ppl saying injen and aem and then looking at their info and it saying Cobalt LS 2.2.................I am particularly talking about the cobalt SUPERCHARGED SS. K&n i back on the SUPERCHARGED SS.

what about fujita for the 2.2L, i know others were mentioning installation problems with the one for the 2.0 but yet were claiming it was yielding noticably more gains.
i didnt see this on the turbo tech site though
