Question This Could Start A War Turbo Or Superchaged

This Could Start A War Turbo Or Superchaged. I have a 2008 ls With pretty much a stock motor... besides an AEM cai. Id really like to keep the intake.

My Question Which is Easier, Cheaper, and Performs better?

And... What kind of parts would i need to complete this build?

Thanks

well you have .2 more liters so that will give you a minimal edge lol.
if that is your goal then just go s/c, it'll probably be cheaper.
if you want more than that then turbo.

you cant lump all 3 into one or the other

supercharged - easier and cheaper

Turbocharged - performs better

but the supercharged is still awesome performance wise the turbocharger will be easier to get higher power out of it with the goals u r looking for i would go supercharged.

idk the exacts on your engine specs, but my buddy with a 2.2 eco in his cavy lssport is going s/c, so your internals are obviously good for it, and ****, the kit from GM doesn't even include a heat exchanger.

turbo is not better than supercharged it just depends what you want out of the car.

if you want a car that gets instant boost and a constant boost level throughout the powerband, then you want a supercharger.

if you want a car that lags (puts on flamesuit for the small turbo nutswingers excuses), but has a high peak power output and boost level, then you want a turbo, it's as easy as that. more importanlty with a turbo, is matching the right turbo to your engine, to minimize that lag.

Sure, leave IAT2 temps and heat soak out of the argument.

u dont have to have a small turbo to not have lag, it's all in how you plan **** out. i know guys running 30r turbos on 2.0 with no lag...

cheap, easy, and performance should not be in the same sentence.

to run with SSSCs you would just SC ur car because u would only be running 8 lbs of boost anyways so the motor doesnt get toasted after 3 years of use, but if u fun turbo u get get better numbers and hp but to get a durable well made warrentied turbo kit it might run u a pretty penny but if u wanna go ebay its ur car haha but i would go SC because its just more practical really

Superchrager is definatly way easier, unless you get a garret kit.

but turbo may put out more power
