Crate Engine

What type of crate engine would you suggest I put in my 2.2L cobalt, that is within a modest price range? I gave up trying to find a supercharger for the 2.2L.

If you're set on doing an engine sawp, I'd say definitely go with the 2.0 S/C GM crate engine from the SS Supercharged. It should fit in no problem, and bolting it up shouldn't be too difficult, just tedious because of all the computer issues and such.

However, I think your best option would be to just get a turbo kit for your 2.2. You could pretty easily make it about as fast as an SS S/C, and it would be much cheaper and less complicated than doing a whole engine swap
