I hate part of mine, after the 2.5" drop the 90* elbow under the rear seats/front trunk section hits on every speed bump I can imagine.

i totally agree thats exactly what i did... i wasnt sure how long so i took exhaust off and took a piece of string to see how long it was. then for bending purposes i used the piping for the template. also go with a cherry bomb glasspack for resonator works fine and is about 20-30 bucks and autozone/murrays...and get the muffler wherever u you want i got mine off ebay i love those carbon fiber ones 4inch tip oh and 2.25 piping

It does, it follows the lines it just hangs lower at one point, follow the part that goes behind the cat until it does a 90* bend towards the drivers side and the 90* bend back towards the back of the car is really low.

its just the flange thats gunna get cut off, and the hangers, so no holes or cuts thru it there

i would only have to cut it in 1 spot to get it off

why dont you just use stock piping? cut the muffler and resenators off and put your own high flow ones on?

that will cost you like 100 bucks

it necks down to 2.25 at the axle back. do you think making it mandreal bend that section of pipe its really going to give you a noticeable gain?

a catback on our N/A motors nets maybe 2-4 HP

that pipe might net you..0.025 HP? i just had a high flow quieting resenator and muffler...works wonders.

want my stock catback ... i cut it where it goes to 2.25 so ud have all 2.5 and you could have the over the axel part 2.25 and youd need less piping

and u wouldnt need a resonator either so theres a cut of cost too

i havent heard megan except from youtube sounds pretty close .it sounds very deep not ricey at all i dont recall how long but what i did is i live in waterford and there is this store off of m59 i forget what its called but they sell 10 ft for 40 bucks and itworked out fine i didnt really measure anything just used the old exhaust for a template and took a string to see how long. i for a muffler i bought a 4 inch tip black carbon fibor muffler off of ebay and when doin to piping put a little bend in it toward the end...i like the look of the wrx exhaust so kinda like that. sounds good and u save alot of money just make sure you know sombody that welds good
