Sound preaty good and picked it up a bit. It went 13.8 @ 74mph (2.63 60)in the 1000ft. After i put the intake on and leaving at a higer rpm the car went 13.4@ 77mph (2.56 60). It pulls alot harder in second now. I have to get a better air filter though

Once i get it powder coated and put the fogger it it i may do that. i had to chop up the stock air box to get the mass air flow out . i also need to build a better hold down for it . other then that i like it. what makes me happy it that no codes came on. YET!!!!!!!!

The lack of bracing is also a definate concern on the short-rams.... the Injen dosen't have any bracing either.

nice short ram....ill get pics of my custom cold air intake...all the custom work im seeing is all short ram intakes...my cold air costed me only 100 bucks and im using a k&n e1009 filter and it works AMAZING. ikept the stock look cuz im on a lease so i didnt want to cut much. im makin it into a ram air..but i feel the response so much better in all gears but even at the higher RPMS it sucks alot of air in and def performs amazingly. ill get pics up soon.

I made one..and well..lol..it's not working very well. The lowend torque seems to be gone completely, and it's throwing a code (after like 2 1/2 hours of driving it threw it) and the gas mileage is HORRIBLE lol. Definately gotta figure that out...1/4 tank on a 20mile trip...no thanks, i'll just drive my 70 4bbl nova and get better mileage and MUCH more power lol.
How'd you get the bend in there for the TB? Just a 45 or 90 degree elbow?

I'll tell ya how i mounted my MAF. Put the pipe in a vice, gently apply pressure on the pipe for the vise to grip it...then take a small square block of wood that'll fit inside the pipe, and use i to flatten a spot on the pipe..then cut a rubber gasket for it. 2 self tapping screws and voila! It's mounted and sealed

no your car wont run for crap, it is located inbetween the big plastic that connects to your engine and your airbox you will set the wire that runs to the intake tubing, that is what they are tallking about

All i did was cut it out of the box. If you cut around it then sand a little bit it is a perfict fit for 3 1/2" pipe. Just make sure that you get the flow right and take ot the MAF so that you don't screw it up. It is easy
