Do Cavalier Ecotec Motor Parts bolt up

I searched and barely found anything. Does anyone know if any of the parts from the cavalier ecotecs would bolt up? Like intake Manifold and such? I realize tuning... but I was curious.

Again I know that the TB is mechanical and won't work with the cobalts too.

Technically? yes.

It's the same identical engine, but you have to taken into consideration the different layouts of the engine bay. Cavalier parts will bolt up, but the real question is: Will they fit in a Cobalt

Yeah, I know that the intake usually goes to the right on the Cavalier, but I didn't know if like the headers and stuff would fit or rub the firewall...

the header should work fine, it will bolt up and everything, but if no one has tried it, i will go buy a 2.2 cavi header and see how it goes.

why would you want to? are you thinking in an aftermarket sense? I dont really forsee any gains at all taking stock cavalier parts.

For the most part, any L61 part before 2007 will work fine. Intakes and exhausts are car specific, but the engine parts are identical.

I have a bunch of buddies here locally that would sell me their cavy parts dirt cheap... He built his eco then totalled it by getting rear-ended.. motor is in perfect working condition.

So an aftermarket header would work fine, intake manifold work fine, but intakes face the right, exhuast are specific I understand that.
