Downpipe/Header Question

Hello,

I am planning on purchasing a downpipe and header.

1. If I purchased the PaceSetter Header, what are my options for downpipes?

2. If I purchased the GMP Header, would the XTC Downpipe fit? Which XTC downpipe should I go with if I have a MagnaFlow Exhaust System? ( 2.5 with high flow cat, etc?)

Thanks for all your help!

Magnaflow system have been known to have the resonator crack and rattle, we would recommend the Corsa Cat-back. The pacesetter header replaces the stock manifold and down pipe, to just before the OEM Cat converter. IMO pacesetter is the best header for the $.

1. Pacesetter will require you or someone specialized in welding. Have a custom Downpipe made as it will not bolt up to the dp.

2. GMP header should work with the XTC dp. The GMP header is just the SS/SC header honed out more and replaces your header. I pretty sure it's a shorty so the XTC would work with it! Just be prepared for a P0420 code with the XTC!

Once the PaceSetter is installed, will it throw a code or engine check light? Isn't the cat on the downpipe? Help me understand this more.
