Believe me, I was disappointed that the LSJ DP didn't just bolt-in on my 2.4. I ended up spending another $100+ to get it altered to fit. Roger (the 2.2 owner I tried helping out) didn't have the extra cash to have the exhaust shop rework his LSJ DP.

The OP just needs to be aware there could be a problem and prepare for it -- especially if his Cobalt is the only ride he has.

well luckily there's no cutting involved in taking the downpipe off. if worse comes to worse can put it up in the classifieds.

When I do my exhaust manifold I'll definetly get under there and get pics for you guys. I think the difference in sizes/parts if primarily an issue between SAI cars/non SAI cars and cars with 2 o2's on DP and those with 1 on DP and 1 on manifold.

those are the issues i've run into. never fitment though.
