drilling a hole in the exhust pipe
alot of people say instead of getting a exhaust pipe just drille a hole in ur stock pipe and gives u that deep tone is this fact or fiction

That's old school haha. It semi-works with the old school v8's but sounds like ****. If your looking for a broken exhaust/rice sound, drilling a hole in ur exhaust is the way to go. Not to mention the fact that you are going to ruin the stock exhaust system and allow it to start to rust. I highly don't recommend it. highly....very highly.

i have an LS cobalt and the stock muffler had a tailpipe that came out of it like 8" long. it was really lame looking. i cut off about 4" and bought a chrome tip(nothing fancy) and put that on the end. looks fantastic and since that little bit got cut off, it has a nice little growl to it now. i'm very very satisfied with that till i buy a full performance exhaust.
